Fear Movie Poster

I designed a film poster based on the emotion picture we took based on 'fear'

    Would you watch this film?

I think the thing that really hits home about this poster is the blurred effect on the subject's outline, it really gives the illusion of detachment, which is the overall message the film is trying to hit home, fear is an emotion that in essence comes from within, although it is externally visible to a certain extent, the real nuts and bolts come from within, you may be scared of something that I am not. It's really that simple,  so thew subject in the  picture is slightly blurred, because contextually, lacking prior knowledge of the film, the audience is absent of reason to feel detached along with the character, so the poster is subsequently

casting a sense of questioning and detachment between the viewer and character, drawing the viewer in by this tactic is key to a successful picture, there needs to be a clear disconnect with the character's reality and the viewer's reality. This is needed to enhance the viewers engagement and therefore, be more likely to watch the movie.
